My Story

I am a passionate storyteller with a passion for the arts.

As a performer I've worked extensively in theatre and film, and spent a number of years on television in Hong Kong enlightening local children to the wonders of the English language (sometimes by doing some very silly things indeed!). I was a driving force behind Hong Kong's premier children's theatre company, Purple Turtle Theatre Co Ltd. I sing regularly at corporate events and have been seen around town singing and playing keys in a few bands.

I regularly work as a roleplay actor for universities, corporations and government agencies (including NSW Police and the Australian Defence Force) passing on skills honed in my corporate days as a journalist and in local government.

My production work has taken me all around Australia and overseas. I have worked as Stage Manager, Event Manager, Producer, Event Co-ordinator, Director, Resident Director and Vocal Coach for companies including GFO, Sydney Festival, Pacific Opera, Theatre of Image, Powerhouse Youth Theatre, Pinchgut Opera and MonkeyBaa.

As a freelance podcast producer for Network 10 in Sydney I have been developing and producing a series of branded content and news podcasts for 10 Speaks including Short Black with Sandra Sully, Starstruck with Angela Bishop, Ramsay Beat: Celebrating 35 Years of Neighbours and 10 News First Person.

I am a proud member of Equity where I hold the unusual honour of being (as far as I know) the only member in three different sections - actor, entertainment crew and media. I am even prouder to represent my peers as an elected member of the National Performers' Committee, as well as co-chair of the Equity Wellness Committee.

I also once worked in Buckingham Palace.
